Symrise AG, a major flavours and fragrances producer, has completed its acquisition of Wing Pet Food, a Shanghai-based supplier of pet food palatability enhancers, pet food nutrition, and pet food protection ingredients. The company said the acquisition will expand its reach into the Asia Pacific region.
Jean-Yves Parisot, President of Taste, Nutrition & Health at Symrise said, “With this step, Symrise has acquired additional capabilities for its Pet Food division. This acquisition will further strengthen our market position in the areas of pet food palatability. At the same time, it will accelerate our diversification in the areas of nutrition and food protection.”
