Compawnion, an Indonesian pet health and nutrition company, has secured new funding led by East Ventures, a leading venture capital firm in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
The funding will be ustilised to accelerate distribution, R&D, and broaden the company’s product portfolio. Compawnion aims to provide health-conscious and sustainable choices for pet owners in Indonesia’s growing pet food market.

Compawnion was established in 2020 by 3 Co-Founders which include Herman that bring together their expertise in canine nutrition, trade marketing, business strategy and branding.
The company has already achieved significant profit growth with its first brand Pawmeals, a natural and nutritious frozen cooked dog food. This brand has already been distributed to 13 cities throughout Indonesia and achieved remarkable 1000% increase in profit growth ever since its launch.
Building on the success, Compawnion is now introducing UGO, the first-ever fresh, preservative-free, and shelf-stable dog food in Indonesia. Compawnion also plans to diversify into the cat food market in 2024 and is dedicated to establishing a comprehensive pet ecosystem in Indonesia.
