Thanh Thanh Cong – Bien Hoa JSC (SBT), the 2nd largest producer of sugar in Vietnam has formed a strategic partnership with US-based Cargill in the agricultural/livestock sector.
The first cooperation project will be piloted at Thanh Long farm in southern Tay Ninh province. The collaboration will focus on a pig farm with 3,000 sows and 36,000 pigs for slaughter at the farm. Cargill will offer SBT consultations on building effective animal husbandry practices in line with international standards.
Agrifood giant Cargill entered Vietnam 25 years ago and has invested more than US$160 million in the country.
