Coca-Cola, known for its carbonated soft drink, has partnered with Brown-Forman Corporation, the brand owner for Jack Daniel’s to introduce an alcoholic ready-to-drink (aRTD) premium cocktail in convenient format in the Philippines.
“While Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola have long been mixed at home and in bars around the world, today we’re officially introducing to the Philippines a premium drink that unites 2 iconic brands in a RTD cocktail blend with so many perks, including its can,” said Cesar Gangoso, Frontline Marketing Director, Coca-Cola ASEAN and South Pacific East Region. “
Made with Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and Coca-Cola, the aRTD is currently hitting the shelves in the Philippines. The can and packaging, which feature two of the world’s most recognizable and valuable trademarks in ‘Coca-Cola’ and ‘Jack Daniel’ will include clear warning stating that the beverage is to be enjoyed responsibly and only by consumers of legal drinking age.
In addition, all marketing of the Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola aRTD product will adhere to responsible marketing policies and practices held by Brown-Forman and The Coca-Cola Company.
Jack Daniel’s and Coca-Cola premium cocktail is available in 320 ml slim cans with an alcohol content of 7%.
Coca-Cola has always been known for non-alcoholic beverages. In 2022, it launched Lemon-dou, a fizzy alcoholic drink modeled after Japanese drinks in the Philippines. The drink has been available in Japan since 2018.
Gangoso commented, “Coca-Cola is a popular brand. We think of ourselves, really, and even more recently, as a thought leader in the beverage space. The consumers have different occasions, different moments. As a thought leader in the beverage space, we want to be at the forefront of always addressing consumer needs.”
The alcoholic drink can be ordered online via selected platforms or purchased offline via retail stores as long as the buyer is 18 years old and above.
