Osotspa Public Co. Ltd, the producer of M-150 and Shark, is facing a bleak outlook in the saturated energy drink market in Thailand.
With blue collar customers representing the bulk of energy drink consumers in Thailand, this segment is facing limited growth as consumers have to contend with the rising costs of living. This is exacerbated by Osotspa’s falling market share eversince it raised its prices for its flagship products in March 2022.
In addition, Osotspa faces stiff competition from other players like TCP and Carabao Dang which invest large sums of money on marketing and promotion activities.
As such, it is extremely unlikely that Osotspa will be able to regain market share in an already saturated market.
