PROVA® has recently announced the creation of its new industrial site in Bangkok, Thailand after having recently strengthened its presence in France with the acquisition of the Montrichard site in the Centre-Val de Loire region. These industrial projects are part of the company’s global investment and expansion plan in France and internationally.
Prova started its development in the Asia-Pacific region in 2006 and by 2022, it should achieve a turnover of €17 million (US$17.65 million).
This corporate project is part of “PROVA Tomorrow” strategic plan, which aims to strengthen its international development in high-potential areas such as the US and Asia, as well as to gradually empower the regions operationally.
With the new Thai factory which has a space area of 5,000 sq.metres, Prova is affirming its expansion in a very dynamic economic area, where consumer habits are constantly evolving and give full scope to its product portfolio and expertise in the production of flavors. This new establishment will be in line with the company’s principles of reducing carbon footprint as part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) policy.
“Today, we are taking a step forward in terms of service offerings in the food industry. We want to produce as close as possible to our customers, as close as possible to their tastes and expectations. Every day, new customers trust us, and we are very grateful to them. Our factory in Samut Prakan aims to develop flavors adapted to Asian cultures, to guarantee quality and production systems equivalent to the standards of our French factory, while drastically reducing our shipping times”, says Julien Le KY HUONG, Regional Director – APAC region.
The plant, which is currently under development, is scheduled to start operating at the beginning of 2024. This is an excellent opportunity for PROVA to strengthen its production and export capabilities in the region.
