Güntner wins German Innovation Award for its Air Cooler DUAL Compact

On 26 May, Güntner Air cooler DUAL Compact (GADC) has won an award for innovation by the German Design Council in the “Business to Business – Energy Solutions” category.
The award honors products and solutions across all industries every year, distinguished for their focus on users and added value compared to the solutions to date. The idea behind this award is to make innovations visible as hundreds of businesses from serval dozens of countries participate every year.
The development of GADC focused on its application with an added value, and came from an idea given by a particular customer. Recognising the importance of this customer to Güntner, the unit was developed with agile methods in continuous coordination with the customer and adjusted ideally to the specific requirements.
With the option of the integrated condensation pump, the practical, very lean unit offers the possibility to let the condensation pipe disappear from the air-conditioned room into the intermediate ceiling. This is a significant simplification for the customer in terms of the expense of time, e.g. for cleaning.
In addition, the DUAL Compact is the only dual discharge air cooler that is certified according to the HACCP hygiene concept – a further benefit for the customer, especially in sensitive food areas where strict hygiene requirements apply. The fact that the unit can also ensure comfortable temperatures in working areas with hardly any draught is an added benefit to many.
